PV Wins SWAC
For Comets' fans who loved Cynthia Cooper when she helped the Comets win four straight WNBA Championships, here's some good news about Coach Cooper:
Coach Cynthia Cooper-Dyke and her squad are headed back to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three seasons.
PV (23-10 overall), the top seed in the Southwestern Athletic Conference, raced away from Southern (16-13 overall, #2 seed) in the second half and defeated the Jaguars 74 to 49.
PV awaits "Selection Monday" to learn their seed (perhaps a 15?) and opponent.
