TSU Tops Jaguars
HOUSTON, TX -- Check out this release from Texas Southern: "Lady Tigers Treat Fans to a Halloween Win".
The Texas Southern Lady Tigers defeated the Houston Jaguars 83 to 55 Friday night in front of 250 fans gathered inside the H&PE Arena.
The win was only one part of the treat the Lady Tigers gave to the fans. They held a mini carnival for the kids. The gym was transformed into a huge holiday playground with bouncing castles, games and sweet treats.
“We want to engage the community and let them know that we care and that we are their team. We also wanted to create a safe atmosphere for the kids to have fun,” stated TSU head coach Yolanda Wells-Broughton.
TSU will host the Jaguars once again on Tuesday, November 11, at 7:00 p.m.
