HOUSTON, TX -- It's Kids' Day at Reliant Arena as the Houston Comets (9-12) host the Minnesota Lynx (10-10). Tip is set for 11 a.m. If you've never experienced a Kids' Day event, prepare yourself for lots and lots of kids screaming, hollering, and enjoying themselves!
Today's game is the fourth and final time the Comets and the Lynx will face each other in the regular season. The Lynx won the first match up on May 27 with a 98 to 92 overtime win in Houston. The Comets won the next game, June 21, 72 to 65 in Minnesota. The third game took place just a few days ago, July 12, in Minnesota, and the Lynx topped the Comets 85 to 71. As a result of the Lynx two wins, today's game is very important for the Comets to win in order to tie the regular season series at 2. If the Comets lose, the Lynx would win the head-to-head match up 3 to 1 and, technically, move 3.5 games ahead of the Comets in the battle for one of the four playoff spots.
Minnesota has already announced their starters:
#45 - Noelle Quinn
#30 - Anna DeForge
