Comets Select Ajavon

TAMPA BAY -- With the fifth pick in the first round of the 2008 WNBA Draft, the Houston Comets selected guard Matee Ajavon from Rutgers University.

In the second round, the Comets chose point guard Erica White from LSU with the 17th overall pick. Erica is not here at the Draft. She's back at home.
With their third round draft pick (31st overall), the Comets chose forward Crystal Kelly from Western Kentucky. Kelly was named to the 2008 State Farm All-American Team.
