Bianca and D-Rob Earn Big 12 Honors

Yesterday, the Big 12 announced its Big 12 Women's Basketball Players of the Week for the week ending December 9.

Colorado's Bianca Smith (from Bellaire HS, Bellaire, TX) was named the Player of the Week while Oklahoma's Danielle Robinson (D-Rob) earned her third Rookie of the Week honor this season. Smith received her first career honor.

Smith averaged 19.0 points and 2.0 rebounds while leading Colorado to wins over No. 22/21 Wyoming and at No. 20/17 Vanderbilt.

Robinson was OU's second leading scorer last week, averaging 12.5 points in road wins at Illinois and Tulsa.
