Wow. I wonder if Tamara was having some injury problems and that is why she was let go. Any thoughts on that?
I've never seen anything like this, but since I like Erin Grant and liked Tamara, I'm happy and sad but too many changes, not enough time to build chemistry probably and 4-12. yawn.

Tam didn't look injured to me when I spoke to her in the locker room after the game on June 30th.
Oh well.
With Crystal Smith and Erin Grant, the Comets have two quick (but small) point guards with inconsistent outside shots.

Kris, I don't think Tamara knew definitely that she was being let go from what I saw at June 30th game. She may have known she was in the danger zone though, having that nagging injury - I assume she is faster than what we saw when healthy. I know last year with the Sparks she looked even better than what we saw best I can remember.
What do you think?
If she didn't know all along that she was just here til Dixon was re-signed, I think that is kind of low of Karleen.
I'm also surprised Erin had no ill will and came back, being dropped abruptly after starting the 1st season game. Let's see how much she gives on the court. I expect her all but wonder about any grudge held.
Also, maybe Erin is to bring the ball down and then give to Dixon who then plays point. lol.
