Rice Owl Seniors, 2-24-07, Autry Court

Rice honored their seniors before their final regular season game yesterday at Autry Court.
Lauren Neaves, Samantha Stovall, and Krystal Frazier, along with their proud families, walked to center court to receive a colorful spring bouquet and a picture or plaque. It was a simple ceremony but very nice. Sorry for the picture quality.
Rice cruised to victory over Memphis. The seniors all had good games, and special kudos to Kadie Riverin for feeding the seniors the ball as much as possible while being very hot offensively herself.
This last game was fun, and a little sad, but it's not over - Go Owls, win the C-USA tournament in Tulsa! Like Cynthia Cooper said, "I'm in it to win it!"

Thanks, Owlfan.
Are you going to attend the games next year at Reliant Arena?

Great picture and write up owlfan.
Man, Kris makes this blogging look easy, but we know better, right owlfan?! ;)
You do a good job Kris. :)
The Sorfs will probably attend a few next year at Reliant Arena...as long as there is no Texan game there that day. It will be a pain when the Texans are playing. Hmmm, I wonder if you can "tailgate" a women's BB game beforehand just like the Texan games. ;)

Once you get the hang of it, blogging is pretty easy. I guess that's why blogging is so popular.

Owlfan, thanks for sharing your pictures from the game last night. It has been a fun season and I will certainly miss seeing these seniors play. Good luck to them in the C-USA tournament later this week!

I'm sorry, guys. I didn't see these comments. Yes Kris, I will be going to some Owl games next year wherever - mostly Friday and weekend games. Rice is "my" school now. ;-) :-)
SORF, LOL at the tailgating bb party! :-D Sounds like fun actually - the only thing about Autry Court is no beer. :-o
Blogging isn't that easy for me yet - the editing part - I tried to delete the fuzzy picture and never could. I posted it as "medium" size and "small" may have looked better. I actually thought I was posting 4 pictures but I don't know what went wrong. hehe
Thanks though "Anonymous" for enjoying the pics. ;-) It was memorable time, glad it was an easy win too.
