Dixon Considering Coaching Options

I spoke with Reggie Dixon to get his thoughts on new Comets owner Hilton Koch considering Karleen Thompson as head coach and re-considering Reggie.

Naturally, Reggie told me he was disappointed. Honestly, who wouldn't be disappointed in a similar situation? You're told you're going to be named the head coach; but, the next thing you know you're being passed over; and, by the way, 'will you consider being the assistant coach for the person who we chose instead of you?'

I asked Reggie if he would, indeed, consider being an assistant coach on the Comets staff; and, he simply told me, "I'm thinking about it. I haven't decided what I'm going to do."

He told me if he does indeed decide to be an assistant coach, he will support Karleen and the Comets at all times and do his job as best he can.
