Texas - Purdue from Austin

Good first half from Austin between Texas and Purdue. The Horns lead 38 to 32. Purdue started the game just 1 for 7 from the field; but, they made 12 of their next 15 shots.

UT's Erika Arriaran scored 11 points in the opening half including two impressive pull - up three point shots while going to her left.

Purdue's Katie Gearlds likes going to her left and pulling up, too.

I just finished interviewing San Antonio Silver Stars head coach Dan Hughes. I'll post the interview when I get back to H-town.

Back to the game...

Carla Cortijo's legs cramped after the game. She'll be okay.

Unfortunately, Erika Arriaran's knee injury seems to be pretty serious. However, until a diagnosis is made, I won't specualte. But, sitting here listening to the UT people, it doesn't look good at all.

Texas announced today that Erika suffered a torn ACL in her left knee. She's out for the rest of the season.
