Sky After Canty

The HRR has learned the Chicago Sky is planning to pursue Houston Comets' guard Dominique Canty once the WNBA's free agent signing period begins on Thursday, February 1. Canty, an unrestricted free agent, was born in Chicago; and, she played high school basketball there at Whitney M. Young High School.
If the Sky offers Canty a max contract ($90,000 plus and / or a multi-year contract), the Comets may lose Canty without receiving any compensation in return for Canty.
Canty has been with the Comets since the 2003 WNBA season.

I see you think the Comets should not commit max$$$ to Canty. Who would you suggest they replace her with?

I think that Canty is a good penetrator when she's not hurt.She always does well when she's overseas from her numbers but when she's with the Comets she seems to get hurt. We have enough of that with Tina and Sheryl I think we need someone to back up our "2" superstars, I like Nique and if we can keep her without maxing her I would do it. I also think we need a point guard like yesterday.Time is winding down we will see.
