Swoopes' Girls' Hoops Camp October 7
North Harris College hosts Sheryl Swoopes Basketball Camp on Saturday, Oct. 7, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for girls ages 8 to 16. Cost for the one-day camp is $75 and lunch is provided. NHC is proud to welcome WNBA champion Sheryl Swoopes to the campus.
The camp staff will consist of highly qualified basketball coaches from local high schools and colleges in the Houston area. Their focus will be on teaching campers how to develop a sound fundamental game with emphasis on offensive and defensive skills, shooting techniques, and ball handling skills. Each camper will receive basketball tips, t-shirt and an autograph from Sheryl Swoopes.
