Coogs a 13 Seed -- w/ video (still no picture thumbnail)
The last time the Houston Cougars were in the NCAA Tournament I was a sophomore at the University of Houston.
That was 1992.
After defeating Texas El-Paso on Saturday to earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Championship as the C-USA Champs, Sunday evening the Cougars learned they will be the 13th seed in the Midwest (St. Louis) Region.
The Coogs will play their opening round game in Spokane, WA, versus the 4th-seed...the Maryland Terrapins, Friday, March 19.
