Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle has provided more information and written "Yao could miss entire season with foot injury".
Dr. Tom Clanton, Rockets' team physician, says the injury "has the potential for him missing this next season and could be career threatening".

BUT, when he leaves the Rockets due to this injury, will it remain injured in China?? Rockets need to cut these injured guys loose and go with these young guns that carried them to the end.
