Rockets at Hornets tonight

The Houston Rockets (46-21) will try to start a new winning streak tonight versus the New Orleans Hornets (45-21).

These two teams do not like each other. Hornets guard Chris Paul doesn't like Rafer Alston's attitude and the feeling is mutual. Hornets big Tyson Chandler isn't a fan of Alston's either.

Therefore, in addition to the game having playoff implications, the disdain between the two teams merely adds to the interest.

The Rockets defeated the Hornets 106 to 96 in Houston a few weeks ago on March 8. Tracy McGrady scored 41 points in the game and the Rockets also drained nine three-pointers in the second quarter en route to a total of 14 made threes for the entire game.

Alston scored 20 points in the last match-up while Chris Paul scored 37 points and dished out 11 assists.

The Rockets still hold an active run of 12 consecutive wins away from Toyota Center (1/4/08-3/12/08), which stands as the longest road winning streak in team history.

Tip is set for 7pm CDT.
