Coogs' Pane Earns Weekly Honor
Houston Cougars' freshman guard Brockeith Pane averaged 23.0 points for the Cougars (5-1) to earn C-USA Player of the Week honors for games through November 25, as selected by a panel of media representatives covering the conference.
Pane becomes the first Houston freshman to win Player of the Week honors and eighth in the history of the league.
I haven't seen the Coogs play, yet, this season -- I don't have ESPNU; and, the other home games I missed were because I was covering Rockets' home games.
I'll probably miss tonight's home game versus Coastal Carolina (7pm tip-off) as well because of a Parish Council meeting at church.
Good to see the Coogs (5-1) are enjoying a good start to the season.
