NBA Awards Update
Denver Nuggets center Marcus Camby was named the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year today.
Yesterday, Golden State's Monta Ellis edged Kevin Martin, my pick, for the NBA's Most Improved Player of the Year.
Toronto's Sam Mitchell was named Coach of the Year. (I picked Rockets head coach Jeff Van Gundy.)
On Monday, Phoenix Suns guard Leandro Barbosa was named the league's Sixth Man of the Year.
