Texas Southern's Moore Named SWAC Player of the Week
Texas Southern’s Chris Moore was recognized this week as the Southwestern Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
Moore averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds in TSU’s road games against Jackson State and Grambling State.
He scored a career high 29 points in the overtime win against JSU, while pulling down 11 rebounds for his 6th consecutive double-double.
He has 12 on the season.
Moore leads the conference in rebounds and he’s ranked 13th in the nation with 9.7 per game; he’s 6th in field goal percentage with .467 and he’s 7th in the SWAC in scoring with 13.4 points per game.
