HRR and Bernice Mosby at WNBA Draft Combine

The fifth and final person I interviewed this evening at the WNBA's Draft Combine was Bernice Mosby of Baylor university.

Bernice had an outstanding senior season for the Lady Bears; and, she seems to be a lock to be selected in the first round of the 2007 WNBA Draft on April 4.

We talked after the second session of the Combine.

Here's some of the interview ---

Bernice Mosby: "...play two positions..."

HRR and Carmen Guzman at WNBA Draft Combine

I saw UAB's Carmen Guzman play in person twice this season. She led the Blazers to two convincing wins over the Houston Lady Cougars and the Rice Lady Owls. She played well in both games. In fact, I was impressed so much by her performances, I believe she has a legit shot to be a WNBA player.

I spoke with Carmen after she participated in today's two WNBA Draft Combines.

Here you go...

Carmen Guzman: "...I can lead..."

HRR and Jillian Robbins at WNBA Draft Combine

Tulsa's Jillian Robbins was the third person I interviewed after today's sessions of the WNBA's Draft Combine.

To say Jillian is a free spirit is an understatement; and, her personality makes her a fantastic interview.

Check it out...

Jillian Robbins: "...4 in my heart..."

HRR and Lauren Neaves at WNBA Draft Combine

One of the people I definitely wanted to interview after today's WNBA Draft Combine was Lauren Neaves of Rice University.

I've known Lauren for about five years; so, I had a little fun with her at the beginning of this interview.

Hear for yourself:

Lauren Neaves: "...having a blast..."

HRR and Karleen Thompson at Draft Combine

Despite missing the morning session due to reasons out of my control, I attended the second session of the 2007 WNBA Draft Combine. About 40 of the top college seniors participated in the Combine.

Houston Comets' GM / Head Coach Karleen Thompson was the first person I interviewed.

Check out the conversation:

Karleen: "...doing a lot of work..."
